Junior Adusei, founder of Junior's House

Junior Adusei · Founder

I started with one chair and built a House.

I did not inherit a chain or a map. I built my name through precision work, culture, loyal clients, production standards and difficult seasons. Then I learned the standard could not stop at my hands, so I began personally training the barbers beside me to see the details I see and carry the House beyond one chair.

Where I started

A reputation became my craft. The craft became my name.

I grew up in Rexdale and started working at sixteen to help support my family. Cutting began with friends, and a reputation for clean flat tops became a serious craft.

After Toronto and Queens, I moved to Vancouver in 2008. One chair inside Dipt Kicks became a clientele; in 2012, that work opened the doors to my barbershop on Davie Street.

“Junior built his name one chair at a time. Now build yours.”

The road I took

One chair can become a whole world.
